Wikisky

Wikisky may be the greatest idea for a website ever. Even better than Popurls. For those of you who don't know, Wikisky allows you to freely explore the cosmos without having to go through rigorous NASA training. Satellite images of outer space are brought to you computer monitor. It's like the stargazing we did in high school, without having to leave the house if lights or clouds blot out the stars at night. Wikisky is like the Hubble Telescope on your computer. If you don't look at this site at least weekly, then you have some serious problems.

Yeah, the above was a rant about the obscenely awesome Wikisky.

Bing

Bing is a shit-tastic website. I hate it. Bing absolutely sucks. Compared to Google and Yahoo!, Bing is the worst search engine ever. It's results are sporadic, and they are spread across multiple pages. Bing claims to provide more than links, however, they provide worse links than Google or Yahoo!.

Bing videos are okay, as are Bing Images. But the search engine (the part of the website most people use) is absolutely fucking terrible. Avoid Bing at all costs.

Popurls

Popurls (rhymes with 'popular' somehow) is a site that connects the most read/looked at Web pages across the Internet, and puts it on one easy-to-read page. Think of it as the RSS on steroids.

It seems that everyday, Popurls gets more readers. Popurls also doesn't discriminate: if a humor article has been posted in 'digg' a crapload of times, expect to see it on there right next to the healthcare reform bill from CNN.

You can also change Popurls to fit genres such as News and Sports.

Popurls is the perfect homepage. All your news in one place. Whoever invented this site should win a Nobel Prize.

cracked.com

Cracked.com is one of my favorite, and frequently used, sites. It's sheer hilarity made from people who are just working their way up the comedy-writing spectrum is always good (except when it isn't, but that's only occasionally). I think I've learned more from history. It's videos are always hilarious, especially Michael Swaim's and Wayne Gladstone's, who is now at Asylum.com.

But the best one is from a comedy duo BriTaNick:

BriTaNick aren't even frequented on cracked.com. That shit is hilarious.

Craked's writers, David Wong, Ian Fortey, Robert Brockway, Cody Johnston, Chris Buchholz, Daniel O'Brien and 'Seanbaby'.

Their 'numbered lists' are the best articles the site produces, and a new one comes up almost every day. Most of them are absolutley hilarious. Cracked's Topics page is also pretty funny, where a third party comes and writes (or attempts to write) a funny article. Most of them fail.

YouTube

Aah, YouTube. The Video King where we can watch people making fools of themselves (0r parent's making fools out of their kids):

People exposing blatant copyright infringement:

People making truly honest and beautiful videos that would likely win academy awards if they were long enough:

And watch the latest trailer for upcoming movies and video games (or watch old ones from movies and games past).

So as you can see, YouTube, the time wasting site beloved by both high schoolers and menial office workers alike, is truly the Web site king.
